Felt Racing Road Team

Felt Racing road team is a new cycle racing team in the UK. We are the only team in the UK to specifically target Criterium and track racing. Our team members manage to combine competition at national and international level with equally successful professional careers.

Introducing the Team
The core of this new team is formed from the highly successful Elite riders. Our aim for 2007 is to build on the performances achieved over the past year and strengthen the team to allow us to compete at the very highest level in the UK and abroad. We are looking for support for the five man team to contest criteriums and track races in the UK, US, and Europe.

Ian Holt
Ian after a year working in Italy is going to attack the National Criterium series this year, like he did in 2005 when he won the Bob Chicken in central London this was the fastest race of the year at over 31mph average speed, also finishing 3rd overall in the series that year.

Ian currently works as an IT consultant for IBM in London.

Justin Hoy
Justin is going to be the team manager while still racing. His results include winning the Guildford Criterium in 2003 as well as finishing 3rd overall in the Criterium series that year. He has also won the Green jersey in the tour of Surrey with a stage win on the way.

Justin works as the South East area manager for Saddleback (importer of Felt bikes, Castelli & Serfas).

Peter Sargent
Peter has been in France for Team Albert Bigot 79 racing some hard races for the past two years, but he returns to the UK in 2007 and joins Felt Racing, we are sure he will be a good team mate and a strong member of the team. Also Peter will be looking to add a podium result at the National Espoir Road Race Championships.
Alastair Carr
Alastair is one of our new signings, at only 18 years he is a first year senior in 2007 and he will have a good team to help him along the way. He has shown his class in the junior ranks in the past few seasons and has also taken part in the Junior Tour of Ireland twice, a 6 day junior stage race over 570km. And will hold a 1st cat licence to start the season. We are already starting to think he is Jimmy Carr with his great sense of humour!
Tom Crouch
Tom has come to us from Team MK where he has played a key part to the strong team. With many strong rides in under 23 races in the past few years and being a very hard worker when it comes to doing that extra bit of training with all that spare time he finds while studying at Sheffield University. Tom will play the work horse and the all day up the road hard man.
